We are aware of an issue affecting PDF export for larger process diagrams.
What is Happening
When exporting processes with more than 50 tasks to PDF, some users experience timeout errors. The export starts but does not complete, and you may see an error message after 30 seconds.
Who is Affected
This issue primarily affects:
- Processes with 50 or more tasks
- Diagrams with extensive branching logic
- Models with large embedded images
Workaround
While we work on a fix, you can try these alternatives:
- Export in sections: Break your process into logical sub-processes and export each separately
- Use PNG export: PNG export handles large diagrams better and works consistently
- Reduce image sizes: If your process includes images, compress them before adding to Flowstate

Our engineering team is actively investigating the root cause. We have identified the rendering bottleneck and are testing performance optimizations.
