Getting Started with Flowstate
Your first 15 minutes. Follow these steps to create your first process model and discover how Flowstate transforms your workflow.
Access your account
Log in to Flowstate using the credentials provided in your welcome email. Your beta account includes full access to all features during the testing period.
Create your first process
Click the "New Process" button on your dashboard. Give your process a descriptive name that reflects its purpose. Start with something familiar, such as an approval workflow or customer onboarding flow.
Add entities to your process
Entities are the core objects in your process - things like "Order", "Application", or "Document". Add your first entity by clicking "Add Entity" and giving it a name that describes what moves through your process.
Define states for your entity
Each entity progresses through a series of states. For example, an Order might move from "Pending" to "Processing" to "Shipped" to "Delivered". Add the states that represent the lifecycle of your entity.
Add tasks connecting states
Tasks define what happens between states - the actions that transition your entity from one state to another. Add tasks like "Review Application" or "Process Payment" to describe the work performed at each transition.
Preview your diagram
Click "Preview" to see your process model rendered as a professional BPMN diagram. Flowstate automatically generates the visual representation from your semantic model - no manual drawing required.
Export your documentation
Export your process documentation in multiple formats. Choose PDF for stakeholder presentations, Word for collaborative editing, or SVG for embedding diagrams in other documents. Your semantic model ensures consistent, professional output every time.
